About

Biography

Kelowna pianist, Tricia Dalgleish was born and raised in the Okanagan and makes her home in Kelowna, British Columbia. She began playing piano at the age of five, and has spent her life deeply involved in music. Tricia has been performing professionally on the piano and with various ensembles for over twenty years. She has also imparted her knowledge and passion for music as a piano teacher to many young budding pianists over the years.

Recently, Tricia has been part of a nine piece band, performing on the Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. That experience has added a colourful dimension to her approach to music.

While gifted as a solo performer, Tricia also collaborates with an array of musicians, ranging from violinists and singers to guitarists and drummers. Whether you’re looking for an instrumental piano/bass duo for a formal occasion, or an enthusiastic vocal group to liven up a party, Tricia and her fellow musicians can provide the appropriate ambience. Currently Tricia often is found gigging with Trevor Salloum (Latin percussion/vocals), Darko Cuk (bass/vocals) and Maggie Ponzo-Cotton (vocals) in their Latin group Major Mambo. She also enjoys the collaborating with Lester Dubland and Shelly Vida as they combine their talents in the sassy layered vocal trio called LYPService.

Tricia’s skill as a Kelowna pianist and her professionalism in business shine. Her charm and sensitive personality complete her gifting as a social entertainer. She plays a wide variety of musical styles to suit your every occasion. From captivating classical pieces such as Clair de Lune, to funky Latin numbers like Mas Que Nada, Tricia “covers the keys”!
